In 1982, and after the increasing demand on his machines, Mr. Farhat decided to start his own manufacturing company “FARHAT Bakery equipment”.
From that moment the company took on an original aspect, specializing in the construction of highly automated, custom built, Arabic & pita bread making plants, breadsticks machines, and pancake depositor.

The Breadsticks Machines has been designed for the transformation and forming of food dough for the pastry production industry. It is able to transform dough consisting mainly of flour, sugar, baking powder, flavorings and food fats. This dough are transformed by the Breadsticks Machines into different products according to the kind of form applied to the working head and of different dimensions, according to the select working cycle.

Thanks to the exclusive use of electric motors controlled by inverter, we have made the Breadsticks machines more excelling still in the working performances, keeping unaltered the precision that has always distinguished our machines.

Furthermore today all the functions of the Breadsticks machines are completely controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that is extremely easy to regulate through a special keyboard (LCD Touch Screen). In such way one touch is sufficient, for example, to regulate the length of the breadstick, as you desire (starting from a minimum of 10 mm) or to increase the working speed Along with the really high quality components we have chosen only the most valuable materials to build this machine of the future: stainless steel carpentry (AISI 304) and food grade plastics. These materials grant a better resistance of the machines to the wear and tear of time, but also a bigger respect of the hygienic rules.

The strip of dough is lodged onto a motorized sliding roller ramp that conveys it to the preparing/calibrating rolls where it will be spreaded by sesame seeds. From here the dough advances automatically to the drawing unit, composed of two grooved stainless steel rolls (AISI 304) which act to give the desired diameter of the breadsticks. Once the breadsticks have been formed, the strips of dough are spread apart thanks to a spring retractor ramp and successively conveyed to the cutting unit. The strips of dough are then cut at the desired length thank to cutting system; the formed breadsticks are then automatically placed onto the trays

The trays' container, positioned in the rear side of the Breadsticks machines can contain up to 10 trays (fit for the automatic loading) which automatically advance in synchrony one by one at each new row of breadsticks formed. All the materials coming in contact with the product are fit for the food industry and the Breadsticks machines is fitted with protection and safety cares in respect of the rules in force. In order to obtain a different final product shape, the drawing unit can be replaced. Drawing cylinder diameters: 6-8-10-12-14-16 mm.
